Journalism Awards
The Asian Development Bank Institute invites journalists from developing Asia and the Pacific to submit published articles written in 2008 or 2009 in connection with the 2009 annual Developing Asia Journalism Awards (DAJA) competition.

Statement of Terms and Conditions
Entries must be the work of individual journalists from ADB developing member countries.
Articles must be published works and may have appeared in a regional newspaper, magazine, news wire service or website between 1 January 2008 and 15 July 2009.
Journalists may enter one article in each of the four theme categories. Journalists are entitled to only one theme award, but may also receive a special prize award. Prize winners and runners-up from previous DAJA competitions are eligible to compete again.
Every entry must be between 1500 and 2000 words in length.
Any entries submitted for prior DAJA competitions may not be used again in this year's competition.
Journalists will be required to give permission to ADBI to publish/republish the winning articles.
The judges shall not be bound to award a prize in any categories where they do not feel that the quality of entries merits it.
Submission deadline for 2009 Awards is 15 July 2009, 6 pm Tokyo time.
